After many years of photographing a wide range of famed celebrities, Peter Nash now focuses on his attention on the subject that he loves most, dogs. Having studied 19th-century dog paintings that encapsulated furry companions in beautifully rendered light, he discovered that he could create the same aesthetic using photography. Thus Peter embarked upon one of his most famous and touching works, “Portraits in Fur”. This collection showcases dogs, as Peter describes, “at peace in the home and world they pass through.”

Peter presented this spectacular collection at Two Old Hippies and donated $300 for each commission sold to Emmylou Harris’ Bonaparte’s Retreat Rescue Mission, which provides nurturing care for adoptable dogs.
