Jimi: Jimi Hendrix in London, January 8, 1969 at his Mayfair flat, which was once the residence of composer George Frederick Handel. Several years earlier, Hendrix had been spotted by Animals' bassist Chas Chandler, who was looking to move into music management. Chandler convinced Hendrix to move to London. There a group was built around Jimi, featuring Mitch Mitchell on drums and Noel Redding on bass. The trio became the Jimi Hendrix Experience and had three Top Ten albums in the first half of 1967. Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970. This Limited Edition Fine Art Giclee is printed on acid-free imported Somerset Rag paper with a hand-torn deckled edge.
